That is exactly my sentiment and why I sent a letter of divorce to Ford last summer. My new motto: It's a shame that Tokyo has taken better care us of than Detroit. And that was my parting shot to the customer service rep who handled my letter. Then the dim wits wanted me to take a customer survey, I told them to shove it, I'm not doing anything that benefits Ford again.

I spent about $100,000.00 on ford between 01' and 05', and for my money I got the brush off.

That made a lot of sense to me as well. Although the guy seems to think that the bailouts were obama's idea somehow even though he hasn't taken a single step as president. But most cant hide their hatred for the "other" party whichever party that is. I heard on foxnews this morning that Bush has plans to give the big three the money even if congress doesn't. Can anyone say "nationalization"?

Couldn't help but notice that in the second letter, the new "Messiah" was brought up. Good read.

Ford is not seeking a bailout as of yet. I believe Ford is trying to position itself as the Kingpin in the auto industry by not nagging "we the people" for a bailout. They might make it.

Well, while I agree with the sentiments in the "letter", it appears to be just another internet rumor posted by somebody with an agenda.
Using "Snopes" in the URL to give it legitimacy, when the link isn't even the Snopes.com page.
Tried to get info on Knox Machinery. All URLs to the company appear to be dead ends.
I don't understand why people start these things, (Fake emails etc.) when there are plenty of forums for them to state their views.
No offense meant to Bill or any others by this.
