Can you get down to fish the bank on the ohio side of the dam ? Like to try for some sauger . Anyhelp is appreciated .

yes, there is a parking lot of SR 52. when you pull in go straight towards locks, parking lot is on the right. you can't miss it. There are some paths that you can follow down to the river. However watch the water levels. If the water level is above 30' @ Cincy, I think it's almost impossible to fish there. It can somttimes be very good.

Thanks for the reply, and info about the water level , I ll be coming from ross ohio , and don't need them extra gas exspenses.

Right now the river is at 33.86' in Cincy so it's probably not fishable. You can still fish on the KY side of the river though. Your Ohio license will work there too. I've fished over there when it's been over 40'. Good luck.

I didn't realize my ohio license was good over their , I have relation over there that would probably go along.

As long as you fish the river you're okay. Don't fish any of the creeks and you're good to go.
