Default Tides for Calcasieu Lake Specks

Hey Dwyane! Do you prefer the rising or the falling tide for speck-fishing in Big Lake during winter?

Hey Pete, normally I would say that I like to fish the falling tide but if you are after specks right now, the best advice I could give you is to fish before daylight and right at dark on the north end of the lake. Fish under the birds. Usually I just go when I can though! lol Good luck if you get to go and give us a report when you get back. :D

Thanks. Actually I was going to apply your sage wisdom to Lake Decade, both it and Big Lake being "interior" waterbodies. Or not, but I was curious. And I also go when I can, and if the tide is helpful, good, and if it isn't, there's always the next time.
I have feelers out for helpful hints from PPG on Lake Decade, but he may be hiding from me. I'll post a report if we go.
    And thanks again.
    Pete
