I bought an add-a-seat and I think I like it. I haven't fished with it, but the kids love playing with it in the boat in the driveway. Very nice product.

I need one of those gizmos that converts my front seat mount to two side-by-side seats. Not sure what they're called...does anyone have a recommendation of which works the best?
Thanks, Dan

If I'm not wrong mscrappie33 makes some dang good locking ones for a good price. He is a mississippi boy too so pm him.
My dad made us one. It's 1/4" flat steel in an "H" shape. hole in the center then two 3" risers that accept std. pedestals. It works great. I'll post a pic if you'd like?

For me two more bases in the boat are much better. Nothing to clutter the garage if I'm fishing alone, and they are always in the boat if someone wants to join me last minute. Just my two-cents.

I agree, but my gas tank is under the front deck and storage compartment lid, made putting in more bases impossible.

Is this the rig you got? I been looking at it.

Bought one of the "Add-a-Seat" setups from the E2 link on this site. Have used it in my Tracker for several months and have really enjoyed it.
I like the swinging adjustability part (can open compartments under it by lifting my big butt up and sliding the base around with my foot).
Adjusts and/or removes in seconds and is very stable.
Double seats have been alot of fun for me and my dear old dad, except when he brings the beans
