    Default Fishing Hole

As I was waiting on my truck to be serviced, a fellow came and stood beside me and he was holding a weenie dog. I asked him if that was his guard dog which led to some conversation. Then I suddenly realized I was visiting with Jerry McKinnis who Owns the TV show the "Fishing Hole". After I realized who he was I told him I read where he got his start by reporting on the fishing on Lake Maumelle near Little Rock; known as The Dead Sea by the locals. I asked him to do a show to prove to us if there really are any fish in it or not. He said there weren't, "Stripers got them all".

Me too. I like his shows with Bob Knight. They seem like an unlikely pair!

Jerry is one of the great teachers in our sport. You have had one of those once in a lilfetime moments. Congratulations. I have always enjoyed "The fishing Hole" and the closing line "Dedicated to my dad who always took me fishing"

    Default Lake Muamelle

I fished that like religiously while in AR in 94 and 95... Caught my largest striper whell over 25 lbs. The bait store there did not have a scale. Plenty of hybrids also and bass galore near the old road( under water) near the chimney.
