    Default Alan Henry SI Pics


    Mr Hotmod got his new 798 in a couple weeks ago :D ,and after one exploratory trip to White River last week(not much to look at ) finally got it out on AH yesterday..

    We still have some learnin to do,but this thing is awesome !!!

    What are those things in the 8.1 ft. depth pic? Look like garden rakes turned upside down???

    That is some anchors that a fishing dock are anchored with. That picture is kind of misleading since the support that holds the transducer was raised & slightly turned, which causes a bad water reading & apic that is not orieentated corretly

    I don't remember there being trees that big in West Texas. I guess I'm going to have to bring my boat the next time I get back to Lubbock.

    This is lake Alan Henry which is just below the caprock SE of Lubbock.
    Here is a link. Fishing Alan Henry Reservoir
    This lake was forme by damming uo a canyon & the only brush/trees that were cleared was in the area of the dam. The pictures you see are what represents 95% of the lake. It has produced large bass & crappie but is tough to fish. It is definetly a tackle hog, so bring plenty.

    Butch Ive been trying for a couple years to get Darryl back out here.

    He's a W Tx boy at heart !! Grew up in Wolfforth,if I remember correctly,but has been gone since Henry was created.. If were ever going to figure that lake out we sure need his help !!!
