most tackle shops carry them i have seen them in Walmart at times.

Guys, anybody know where I can find a rubber coated nylon net replacement basket with 3/8" holes (like this one)? Don't want the all-rubber one. Thanks

I looked there before I posted, and the rubber coated one they have looks like it has the big holes like most standard nylon nets have. PVC Coated Replacement Nets, Replacement heavy duty landing nets Other than that, they have a solid rubber one......those are heavy when using a long handle. Need rubber-coated one with the smaller mesh so 1 oz. bell sinker won't go through, and hook won't hang up in nylon material.

Yeah speck, I saw those. Not really wanting to buy another whole net, just want to replace the net basket on mine with one of the rubber coated small mesh baskets. What I've got is one of the soft cloth type bait nets that has a 9' piece of 1" round aluminum tubing coupled to the net handle I use when scooping up a bigun when slow trolling with 14' poles. It's light as can be, and can actually be used with a pretty good reach out with one hand. Only problem is, when using double hook rigs, the "other" hook is gonna find a way to dig into the material, and is a pain to get out. My buddy has got one same length with the all-rubber basket. Works great, but is bad heavy when reaching on out there.
