    Default Humminbird 1197c SI

Must say I have not even got it on the water for what I bought this thing for and am already impressed, but long way to go learning how to use it all. So much to set or changing settings.

Bream beds hide no more, LOL! Also them old Crappie better watch out!

    One fine unit!

Skip, you're gonna love searching those bream beds with it. Just look for the "waffles" with white dots in em..

Look at stuff that you are familiar with first..

    DON'T FORGET TO LOOK UP!

On the Transom where my one for the LCX27 was. Moved the 27c one to the front and can use the one in my TM for it. The Lund people out a plastic overlay rectangle to mount the transducers on.

Looking up is one thing I have heard more than once so far, LOL! I can't wait, but yes keep looking up because this lake is one tree infested lake. They just flooded the National Forrest when they made this lake.

Post some pics of how you mounted everything. I will have mine on Monday and I need some heads up. I got the RAM Mount for my display I hope that it works out. Alot of MONEY there you know (just to go fishing). :D But I can't take it with me. So I hope this helps me catch some good fish.

I think we need a ship (with all the tools/toys we take with us) just to go crappie fishing.
I remember when my granddad would have just laughed at me (now) and then go fishing and catch some big crappie and shellcracker without a fish finder.

Please post some Pic's of your mount, thanks.

I member those going fishing without any electronics days. I would come home and announce "the fish ain't bitin. Of course, someones eyes just rolled back.

These days I come home I announce "the gps is off". However, now I get a resounding "get it fixed or get another one"......hmmm. Things have changed..

Fisherman Wantabe I will try to remember and take pics tomorrow and post them for ya.
