Anyone fish the lake in Doe Valley? Father-in-law just bought a home there. Thinking I will be trying it out

i used to fish it 10 or so years ago. was a great crappie catfish lake then.

    is nice and clean too.

don't have to put up with screaming bassboats either.

    Thumbs up Doe Valley

I've fished Doe Valley many time. My parents just sold their place on it, wonder if we traded? I've caught a lot of bluegill, large mouth bass and crappie on the lake. It's a clear lake with a lot of coves with good cover. We could catch crappie in several of the coves with minnows. Just look for a place where there is a tree that has fallen down. They have a bait shop at the marina that sells minnows and other live bait and gas. 25 HP limit on the lake, I think. I've seen some big bass caught there. Wish my parents hadn't sold their place and I'll miss fishing there. Good luck!
