I use the beavertail in the flat position after splitting the tail on a 1/16th jig head #6 hook. The best color for me is the pumpkin/chartreuse.
How do y'all rig your YUM wooly beavertail? With the tail "flat" like a beaver or vertical like a fishes tail?

I use them flat. Try working them in clear water so you can watch the action and decide how you want to use them, flat or vertical.

flat. Jighead that I use have a real good collar on them. i pinch it off with pliers so it won't rip them. One of the best baits out IMO
Ya ain't holdin' your mouth right.
i do mine flat. and be sure to split the tail. it looks split but is still stuck in the package. the rigging it vertical like a fishes tail is a good thought for cast and retrieve. i only vertical jig with them so ill have to give that a try and see how the action is.
just like LEN said flat,split.1/16 head pump/char.
try it on an orange head

Ive done the best with the big Chart. and white/chart. with 1/4 oz. heads trolling them and jiggn em at Grenada and Truman. At Truman I like to rig them weedless to get inside them cedars!! Every other lake I fish I have better luck with the YUM Vibra Tube The fish seem to respond well to that LPT technology that Yum has come up with. Ive even cut up some jigs and used them to tip other baits just to give it a lil sumthin!! Try it you can just thank me latter.

I've never really given these baits a fair shake yet. I plan on using them quite often this year.
