Need input for wieght of rig

I long line troll quite a bit. Some days I use 1/16 some 1/32 and I have used 1/8 at times.


My question is if I were to use 1/16 to get at the depth to catch fish, could I accomplish this with two 1/32 jigs about 1' apart? That way I could have two different baits at different levels( or same thing with two 1/16 to equal to one 1/8)

Would there be any benefit or negative to this?

played with this some this fall myself. it seems to me that 2 1/32 will not run as deep as 1 1/16 because of line drag from more plastic. 2 1/24 jigs more closely equal
the 1/16 jig depth. do a search for kelly's video on making a 1/24 th jig mold. it is great info.
