Default looking for line with the least memory

i was wondering what you guys recommended for new fishing line. i've been using different kinds and havent found one with little memory. i'm throwing 1/16 to 1/32 oz maribou hair jigs on a spinning reel and the line gets pretty bad after a small amount of time. i use the line magic spray, but still have been having line problems. i havent tried braid, but would if it would help and i'd even try different reels if that would solve the problem. any opinions would be appreciated, thanks

I like Mr.Crappie in 6lb test. If your having a lot of problems it maybe the way your putting it on.

I think it's the way you are putting it on the reel. I put my spool on a small lathe in my shop and put the line on there the same way it comes off the roll. trilene xl, suffix, silver thread, the clear stuff not an 40, and the bass pro line, can't recall the name but they used to give you a better deal if you bought two spools, I think they were about 1000 yds. I have not used vicious panfish line, and don't intend to. I took some out of the box, at a sporting goods store, both the high vis. yellow, and the green color. I pulled about six inches of it off the spool, and I can tell you it was not limp.this was 4 lb. test. and you could double it over and pinch it where it folds, and there would be a kink there that would stay sharply bent. these are not the qualities I want for a spinning reel. A buddy of mine put it on all his shellcracker rods, 8 pound test, and he hated it, said after it was in the water a little while, it seemed to absorb water. he pulled all of it right back off his reels.

You will never have that problem with power-pro braid.

I notice the mono's I use in the winter would coil real bad if I stored them in the car or unheated garage, pretty much have power-pro on everything now,its not perfect,it has its own unique problems, but memory ain't one of them.

Have been using 6lb P-LINE floroclear for about the past 4 years and I love it. Don't think I would use anything else. Dosen't seem to have much memory and it casts great.
