    Wink Big Niangua

Nothing special, just a nice mess of cold water crappie.

The black crappie was just over 12" and had enough eggs in her, you would have thought it was March 1 rather than late November.

Still scattered over here, all depths and only one or two at a spot.

Used Southern Pro grub in yellow and white.

    Then it got windy

Nice mess. Are you starting to catch Keepers where you were catching shorts? or did you try a different spot and find keepers?

Mostly the same spots, a few new ones that I have found recently - still culling a lot of
8" fish to find a keeper.

    Two other things:

    1. It pays to talk to Bugman - about 5 minutes after I told him I had not caught a 12" crappie in 2 months - guess what, I caught a 12" crappie (wish I had said 14") - I think the man is "crappie magic"!

    2. My reasoning said to go fishing this morning while it was cold, because there would be stronger wind this PM - guess what - now 65 degrees and not half the wind there was this morning????

Nice catch there Mark. The wind blew me all the way to Stockton then it seemed to quit as I got on the water. It was a beautiful day on the water.
