    Not sure where this goes but what is the best thing to put on the cork handles of rods to keep them in good shape

    Are you wanting to cover the cork with something or use a cleaner or conditioner?

    I use this for keeping cork handles in good condition!

    Lots and lots of crappie slime!!!!:D:D:D By the time the cork handle deteriorates, I've already replaced the tip section several times and it's about time to replace the rod.

    Look at rod wraps from BPS. Sold in different lengths and colors to fit any tastes. Feels like leather when used and it is not permanent.

    RIVERRATT; If you have any Urethane in your shop/garage it's the same thing as U-40 cork seal, either way both will do the job. FYI; it turns the cork a nice yellow color.

    Fish slime. IMO putting anything on cork defeats the purpose of having a cork handle in the first place.

    I use head and shoulders to clean mine they clean up nice, an old fella told me to use this many years ago it works well
