From the look of that four wheeler, I wound say (the crappie could stay in the water a little longer)

A mans gotta eat. Like the saying goes "a bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush". Enjoy the hunting and then go after the fish. By the way, I don't know if those are all your deer, but that a lot of meat there.

I have quit hunting as it just got to be too much trouble with moving stands and the like every time you change the lease you are on for what ever reason. I still do fish much in the winter. I have killed enough deer in my life to be satisfied (not that I wouldn't still like to get a 150+ deer at some point), but would love to have a good place to go shoot an Axis Deer every once in a while for the meet, but that is a little out of budget.

Still have my guns and just wish I had a good range to go shoot at, but the closest one is 60 miles away. Still never giving up my guns!

If you have a good place to hunt(and it looks like you do) then hunt and when hunting season is over or you are finished go back to crappie.

Not a big deal at all!

Well, at least for me rifle season is only two weeks out of the year, so that leaves 50 other weeks to choose from for fishing.

Gotta do something when the wind is blowing and the lake is whitecapping. Protein is protein.
