Default Some Blood Shed (MINE) But I Let This Guy Go

I have hog traps that I run daily. Today I went out and had this 9 point buck in my trap. I had to cut the wire leading to the trap door, since it was wraped around his horns, but I finally got him out with minimal injury to him and me. Some may ask why I didnt shoot him, but thats not the way I hunt. I dont trap a deer and shoot him. He was very tired but jumped the barbed wire fence and headed for the creek. Probably for a drink. Took a little bit to get the hog trap fixed again but its fine also lol. As you can tell in the pics, he fliped it over.

Thanks all. I really hated to catch him in the hog trap but some times it does happen. I still had several people who asked me why I didnt shoot it. Shooting it would have been my VERY last resort. Theres no way in the world I would shoot a caged deer. That would be like the film I saw of Jimmy Houston (no offense to his fans) shooting the druged deer on a high fence property. Anyway I love to hunt deer but no sport in shooting a traped one. Its just not right. I was taught to do the right thing because its the right thing to do. I hope that I have also passed that along to my children.
