half day on town

took my daddy-in-law today. got to the lake about noon. started on deep brush. dinks dinks and more dinks. wind wind ........... anyway you get the picture. fish were short hitting again. wind finally died and was able to stay on a few piles. caught some decent fish late afternoon. got enough for a nice mess. a few over a pound. going to take the long rods tomorrow. fish seem to be scattering out again. guess its the warm spell. we will start on the main lake or the mouth of creeks. water temp.57 - 60. depths were 18 to 25. fish were holding 8 to 16. water lightly stained. wind as aggravating as it could be. good luck tomorrow folks.

YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS NAT BUT I WENT TO SMALLER HOOKS AND IT SEEMED TO HELP. TODAY, JUST THE OPPOSITE, THE BIGGER HOOKS SOLVED THE PROBLEM. GO FIGURE.

GOT TO PUT MY OLD GIRL IN THE 12TH KEEPER. FISHED ALL I COULD THIS WEEKEND IN CASE SHE DON'T MAKE IT OUT BY NEXT WEEKEND.
