    Default Navionics card

Just got me a Navionics Platinum card. Just looking at it here at the house, I think I'm really going to like it.

I primarily fish KY lake and my Lowrance didn't show contour lines. This card has very good detail. It has several other features such as Satilite over view photos and 3D imaging of the lake bottom contours.

I can't wait to get on the water and give it a test run.

What Lowrance card did you have? I have both nav. and Low. and my Low. has way more detail than the Nav. I use the Low. hot spots pro series maps.

I did not have a lowrance card, just the maps that came loaded on my unit. LXC-37C

The KY lake map on the unit did not have any contour lines. However, Lake Weiss in AL did have contour lines.

Before you go all out with Nav. you should try the Low. hot spots pro series maps. I first bought the Nav. card but I compared the two maps side by side in my units and the Low. had way more detail. I run 3 gps units on my boat and all are running the Low. pro series maps. I do have the Nav. in my 997 H-bird so I still can compare.
