thanks. I will try it on some Talquin way points.

Use this on line file converter. It will convert about anything to anything.
This is a repeat reminder. It works. Bookmark it........

I use this program on my laptop.
Free download.
Does most conversions, but requires you to do more file moving than on line stuff.
works.

Thanks again Cane Pole. Used the online version today and it works like a charm. Helped me with waypoints I created yesterday and was able to look at them on my Hydrografx.:D
I ordered Blood River last week, have marked a bunch of stuff and was hoping to get out on the lake this weekend and check some of em out this weekend, but looks like Sunday is gonna be the only fitting day. Only off a couple weekends a month and don't really need to skip church Sunday, but I'm really eager to see how well it works. I'm not sure when this map was last updated, guess some of the brush will have rotted away by now.

I can tell you from my experience that it works. I marked a bunch of stuff from Big Sandy South and then uploaded them to my computer and my Lowrance has no problem finding them.
Cane Pole told me he thought it was more accurate that if he marked them himself. I know my coordinates are dead on.
I have been reading this site a few months and taken the plunge to join.
I went to link Cane Pole suggested, and have a question.
How do you use the site?
Thanks for reply.
First, Welcome, great bunch of guys here that really know thier stuff.
Here's how the site worked for me. I marked some waypoints on my Lowrance LCX-37c last nite. Cane Pole and I both have a program for KY Lake that shows side scan images. I wanted to upload my waypoints that I made last night and look at them on the lake program on my computer.
However, my Lowrance files are .USR file extenstions and the software on my computer would not open them but it would a .GPX file.
So I went to the site, selected the input file, selected the output file, uploaded the file from my MMC card and converted it. Then I could open it with the side scan software program and view the waypoints on my computer. I plan on making some routes and then downloading them into my Lowrance. I really couldn't make routes as the lake is at a lower pool level and I couldn't get all that close to some of the places I marked. I will adjust accordingly and create a new route.
Hope this helps
