There are no hotel/motels in Finlay. At Eagle Creek State Park there is resort. Their website is
    http://www.eaglecreekresort.com/

This will be right at the ramp area.

There is a small motel in Sullivan about 10 miles from Eagle Creek ramp or there are other ramps closer to Sullivan.
    Gateway Inn

I suspect you are fishing crappie T. The motel may be booked full but check.

Then in Shelbyville ( about 18 miles from Eagle Creek)
    Shelby Historic House and Inn
    816 W Main St
    Shelbyville, IL 62565-1354 Phone: (217) 774-3991

    Spillway Motel & Bait Shop
    Rr 16
    Shelbyville, IL 62565 Phone: (217) 774-9591

Might also check this is run by guide on the lake Don & Barb Satterfield.
    Our Old House

Hope this helps. If these are booked up next closest place Mattoon. There are several motels over there. Let me know if you need additional help in finding lodging. As far as the fish go it has been crazy with the weather like the has been. I have not been out on Shelbyville for probably 2 or 3 weeks. Was going out in the morning but got a call to work.
