    Default Queens Creek Landing

I'm new to the area and have been driving around Norman checking out the boat ramps. I haven't been on the lake yet have to go back and bring my boat back from VA.

The Queens Creek area looked pretty good with all of the boat docks I don't want a gimee but would that be a good are to fish??

Appreciate any help I could get. Also saw some bait shops on 150 are they pretty reliable to have minnows??

    Default Norman

Talk to Pete, he's good on Norman. I've caught good crappie before in Hicks Creek, Stumpy Creek and Rocky Creek. I don't fish the southern end for crappie because of all the perch down there. Get on the water and you'll find 'em.

Thanks for the information. I guess the perch will go after minnows, jigs and blade baits this is what I used back home. Any size to the perch?
