..iffin ya bought one of those albums to keep all the new state quarters in-the ones with the maps that ya gotta bang the quarter with a hammer to get it to go in.
Was cleaning closets with the wife(Yippee!):rolleyes: and came across one.
checked my pockets and added a few more.
Seemed pretty neat at the time......now just a potential retirerment fund.

I have sets going for the boys and I. They will never be worth a lot though, because everyone had done the same thing. The govt. did too good a job of advertising them. Fifty years from now, there will still be a lot of them around.

I made the wooden display for the quarters, now I have to modify it to place the new quarters to be minted in the year of 2009. I have placed the "P" mint mark quarters within the states and the "D" mint mark quarters around the perimeter of the display.
I also have the cardboard display book.
In 2009, the United States Mint will embark on the District of Columbia and United States Territories Quarters Program by minting and issuing six newly designed quarters.
