Fish carcasses

Just had a brain fart and was wondering what some of you guys do with the leftover carcasses. Do all of you throw them away or is there some other use out there? My neighbors are tired of me making my cove smell like the local fish market. Actually, if the fish market smelled like this I would call the health dept. Though, you can always tell when I am on the fish just by driving past my house.

Put them out in the corner of my field and watch the buzzards fight over them. Cheap entertainment.

We live in the country and the buzzards usually take care of ours. When we lived in town, I would bury them in my raised beds for fertilizer or freeze them and put them in the trash on pickup day. When frozen, even on the hottest days, the trash would typically be gone before they began to stink.

I freeze em' like 8. That's the best way to keep em' from stink'n.

Keep and accumulate the fish guts in the freezer until the trash bag is almost too heavy to lift and then set it out on trash pick up day.

CP, you just gave me an idea!!:rolleyes: My boss has been getting on my nerves lately. I feel that a little gut down the vent should work well. Naw, I couldn't do that...well?! I thought maybe someone had some great use that I have never heard of and could put them to good use instead of the trash.

Burlap bag along with a big rock works good. Then you sink it near your favorite catfish hole.
