Default Tips & Tricks for Catching Crappies

I thought I would start a general thread about the little things that help improve your day or production on the water.

    One of mine is:

I always have super glue in the boat and usually I have two. I use super glue mainly to keep the body of my jig from being pulled down my hook by fish. I first thread the body onto the hook and before I push it completely up to the head I put a "SMALL" bit of superglue on the front tip of the body, push it up, hold four a few seconds and wallah.

I usually only go through one or two bodies if I am catching fish on it in a day. Saves a little time and money as well.

Have a few more but I'll wait to see what everyone else says.:D

I've heard and thought about using super glue for that but thought it might have an oder that turns them off. I quess it doesn't.

i use the super glue to hold the knot back so my jig is always sitting horizontal
or in the rocking chair so to speak.
the crappie hit it much better than if your knot slides forward and your jig hangs vertical.

pull the knot back toward the point of the hook and glue it there.

also if you only have a few jig tails and the fish really hitting them.

so that the tails tear up .

    take a cigarette lighter,

melt the jig tail then dip the tail in the lake water to cool it ,

    it is good as new.
