Smile Conjured up som nice fishes Tuesday.....

Been at the lake for a few days. It was windy and cloudy (Tuesday) most of the day. When the wind subsided, the sun peeped out, the fish hibernated.

Managed to boat about 40 and kept 20 nice fishes. Gave my neighbor some, and I kept the rest.

Water temp was 61-65 degrees. Most fish deep in structure on ledges 8-12 ft.

Minnows and 1/4 oz. chartreuse jigs (hand tied by Skip) got them.

I was in my Jon boat. Someone sunk a duck blind at Britton Ford ramp. Oops! It didn't float too good. Kinda blocking the dock...

VERY NICE!!!! Looks like lots of fun. I plan on being down in Big Sandy area next week.

I am new to the fall fishing. When using jigs are you using one 1/4 oz. or are you tying two jigs on? Are you using Ky rig with minnows?

Vertical with minnows and jigs. Fish are deep in cover. Pitched out marker then I just eased minnows or jig into the cover. Wait it out. Wind was up. Got plenty of hangups, lots of hangups.:o

I was in Jon boat. Wore me out with the foot control tm and the wind gusts. I need a rest.......

    Default Nice fish Tom...

I see I'm definitely gonna have to look you up if the wife and I come back down to KY lake this spring. Hey, next time open your eyes for the pic. :D
