    Hello there, Chris. I've been doing "honey do's" all day. The boat and truck are both gassed up, packed, and ready to hit Bucksaw in the morning. Gonna be a bit nipply but I hear fish are still being caught. Hopefully we can manage a few. Report to follow.

    Went to Twain today and had a great day. Ended up with 13 solid keepers and a bonus 5 pound channel I wrassled into the boat with my long pole and crappie jig- good thing I have braid on. I caught some NICE fish- about 6 in the 12-13 inch range plus a 14 inch monster . The rest of them were 9-10 inchers- other than the 15 or so throw-backs. I caught them all in one creek around mid-lake on jigs. Seems they were hugging the bottom in about 10-12 feet of water around pole timber mostly. Great day to be out.

    Launched out of Bucksaw Friday, headed up river. Caught some very nice slabs. Had at least 7 that were 1lb or over. Two guys, 18 keepers. We couldn't figure out how to catch them after the clouds and rain came in.

    hey speck think you need to rest a little. Darrell and i hit it couple days in a row, done on yesterday, see post. bet you are happy to get the roof done bfore winter. I have to cut two giant elm trees away from the house. called a tree guy he wanted 900 dollars, NOT cable and tractor will let you know if I need roofer after the tree falling.... later man

    just b sure to use a long rope or you may need a tractor mechanic also,,,,,,,,,,
