    Default Left them still bitting

I guess their trying to fill up before the front comes through. Good steady bite until I lost my last 3" blue and silver Rocky Top grub. The blue and white 1 1/2" Assassin picked up a few more but the Rocky top was better. Water temp is 77* and caught at 14 - 16' in 30 foot of water. :D

Its nice to know there is a good crappie lake near CC. I've been thinking of spending a winter there to check out TX and the Gulf coast. Any suggestions for a cheap place to rent for the winter? How big do the crappies get there, and what other fish are in the lake? The lake crappie records are all around 2lbs. That seems small for a lake like that.

I'm thinkin' you'll be waaay too busy fishin' and all, so I better come along to clean 'em and make sure your boat stays nice and clean too. Michigan in the winter just isn't makin' it for me anymore. Whadaya say?

Nice haul! Those look a lot like Mississippi fish.

Great catch, I am surprised a crappie could fit its mouth around a 3" grub! What size head were you using?
