I have 2 bait pumps and think they are the best thing for crappie fisherman in a long time
A while back I purchase the bait pump after several of you reccommended it. I had forgotten I had it, the last few times I fished I have used it. I don't know that it helped my fishing, but it is just what the doctor ordered to apply attractants. Great Product!!!

what is a bait pump?

Can the bait pump be used on any lure other than a tube?
I have wanted one for a while, so the big question is when is the 2008 bait pump off-season/recession sale???
"Some days im Basstastic other days im crapptacular"
That was the question I wanted to know since I used solid baits quite a bit. After watching one of Russ Baily's shows he answered that question when he showed how he would just force the tip of the bait pump into to body of the solid jig and inject a pellet of attractant into it. After seeing that I purchased one and am happy with the way it works. I don't know why the bait pump folks didn't show that as a selling point on their website since that is what finally enticed me into buying one after seeing that.

Cool little tool. For my liquid attractants on hollow tubes I stick a piece of cotton inside and then use an old Lindy worm blower to squeeze the liquid into it and works okay.

I use the 30ml syringes available at your local Wal-Greens drug store for about 30 to 50 cents. Works as well as a bait pump for me.
