I agree but its been that way for awhile, would like th change from 3 rods to 5 rods also but it ain't happening
In the new Indiana game & fish magazine it says, misinterpret bag limits. A bag limit is an individual's personal limit, NOT a total of fish divided by 2. You are to keep your fish seperate from other persons in the boat. On a stringer or in another livewell. It makes it easier for the DNR when they check limits. I would like to know how he or she knows who caught what? Indiana is so muck up.

I think a person should get to use a number he or she wants. Its a little hard to have 2 rods on one side and one on the other.
we have always used the same tub/basket for everyone's fish, they never said a thing. i have never had them count our fish either though. i wouldnt worry about it unless your exceeding the limit of the total number of people in your boat. we will see the dnr getting real anal in the future though i think. they need to get back some of the lost revenue from when they cut their own throats with those fee hikes a few years back. i know they lost more than a hundred bucks a year from my fishing and hunting fees. two more years and my 700$ license will be paid off.
Never heard of that one. Riverscum those are some nice fish in your photobucket.
thanks creekboy much appreciated.
It's always been that way here in Mo.
"separate or identifiable.."
If they go in the same basket, then 1 person puts a little cut on a fin of their choice normally.
Our wardens check this and count fish and they do write tickets!!
I talk to the DNR at Cataract today and they wanted to know where I got the article. They said it wasn't going to happen.
Had a conservation officer check my live well this year and made me give him a fish count at Raccoon lake, me and my buddy had all our fish together. He didnt say anything about it. I dont expect it to be enforced really. The C/O was a greast guy by the way, very friendly.
Never have had a C O say any thing about our fish being in the same livewell, never had one want me to give him a body count either. Unless you are pushing over the limit i don't really think you have to much to worry about.
