Tried my luck

Well, I tried my luck this afternoon/evening. I hit Lake Eufaula on a rocky area. I was told the Crappie were hitting there on minows. I went and bought 2 dozen minows. I got there and set up. On my first cast. BAM!! A sand/white bass. Decent size too. I thought ok this could be cool. Stick another minow on throw it out and nothing for about 3-5 minutes then my bobber goes under. I set the hook and its a very small large mouth bass. I catch about 6 of those in about 30 minutes then NOTHING. It was hot and humid and no crappie to be had :-(

Yeah it was fun while it lasted. Just wish I could have got into some good Crappie or even some white bass. First time I ever caught one. They sure put up a fight. They look alot like a striper.

Well gee Glen-- At least you was fishing . I was at work. Thats sad! The only fishing I'm getting right now is setting here looking at your guys pics!! Oh yea-Keep posting!
