    Default Opening Day


    Well, the 11th is the opening day of smokeless powder deer hunting in SC, and im heading down tomorrow! A buddie of ours shot a a HUGE buck last week with a smokepole and wounded it, couldnt find it...

    I am hunting with a 7mm remington magnum, and can put 3 shots in 3 inches at 250 yards, may the force be with me!

    Well, the day was not wasted. This morning I saw two bucks (a 6pt basket-rack and an 8-pt 13" buck) I let them slide. I also saw a coyote trying to eat some of our wild turkeys, which my dad shot at. I will be canoeing/fishing next weekend on the edisto river, but will be back in the stand the next weekend.
