Nope, my little boat is out of commision right now, trailer broke, DUH! and my big boat is restricted there. Try calling K.C.'s bait and tackle on Highy 74, Thomaston road, Macon. the may have a report. 478-474-8968

Yeah, my engine size will not allow me into Juliette.
And I probably won't down-grade anytime soon unfortunately....

and probably will never go there. BUT - if I had to guess ... I'd say minnows or jigs :D (you did ask "what the Crappie are hitting").

It's a shame that the Blueback Herring Shad was introduced into that lake .... it would have been a much better situation (actually, the lesser of two evils) if they had "planted" Threadfin Shad instead. Threadfin don't get as big, and don't eat fry like a Blueback. I bet a "chrome/blue back" crankbait works pretty good, down there ... for Stripers & Bass. Maybe a blue/white marabou or tube jig would work for Crappie ??
I'm thinking the Blueback Herring is what they call a "Tennessee Tarpon", down at Watts Bar Lake ... they'll hit a jig, crankbait, or live minnow !! When hooked, they commence to jumping out of the water like a Tarpon (and they have the shape of one, too).
Hope you enjoy the site ............ luck2ya .......cp
