    Default hot foot


    Anyone ever install a hot foot? Do you need to buy a longer throttle cable, is this really difficult and I should hire someone to do it?

    Most of the time you need a longer cable because you are putting it on the floor as you know you may not have enough slack to reach where you want it. It's not that hard. It can be quite time consuming though. Routing the cable can be quite the pain. I do not know what kind of controller you have now or how it is routed.
    I really like my hot foot. Much safer at high speeds. If you troll a lot and have to keep your foot on the peddle it can be uncomfortable.
