short nosed spoonbill

Me and a buddy were running across the lake one day and all of a sudden, it was like we had run aground. I knew we were in 15 feet of water. I thought , what the!! I looked back and water was swamping the boat.I thought we were sinking, when I backed off, the boat came back up, and about a 30 lb spoon bill was thrashing around behind us.

It got sucked up between the lower unit and the transom, and some how broke of the end off his bill.

So if you ever catch ole short bill in gibson.

I did it!:D
