Default I knew it would come!

After a little encouragement (very little) from the bitter half, I took the offer and loaded up the boat.
The wind was calm and the night air was oh so nice. I wore my shorts and didn't even get cold.
The night started out pretty slow, but picked up about 9pm. There were a few lulls, but very few.
I only caught a couple little bait stealing white perch/bass whatever them flaring gilled minner gobblers are. Thank goodness they are all but gone for awhile.
I do not doubt for one second that I pulled 100 fish; probably more. I took 6 dozen minnows and used every one of them at least once and up to three times. It was frustrating the size of the crappie. Most were smallish and a bunch that rode the line. Even with that I came in with (I thought) my limit.
I was actually two over. Thank goodness I didn't get my butt spanked.

They were as last week 8-10 feet down..all caught under the bridge at Ebeneezer.

My biggest producing rod was again my B&M telescopic riding the darker edges of the circle of light.

I haven't seen a shad ball that thick in a long time, yall. I wish there was a way to catch that one in a picture; so thick you would think you could walk on them.

There was two other boats that were there when I got there. They didn't do much and left early. Another boat came along lit up like Las Vegas. I was literally blinded by the light. After some eyeball adjustment, I started having fun.
I left them out there about 11:30 with them still biting.

and with the kids and Tommy's new buddy "Coda"

"Be Ye Fishers of Men" You catch them- He will clean them

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Nice report. Glad to hear you got into them good. Sounds like a fun night. I long for a day that I can use that many minnows.

So glad that you had such an enjoyable nite! I came across after dust on Monday, but didn't have my gear--I saw there were a couble of boats under the bridge there at Ebenezer and my first thought was you AnchorPuller- I'm glad that you shared your story and pictures. (I think I saw that bright boat headed your way).
The kids seem to be enjoying the new pet!
