    Default North East wind


    Had a north east wind for over a week and muddy up the water but the crappie were on the bite today. Caught some on a 3" Rocky top blue and silver but they liked the 2" punk / chart crappie thunder the best. Had a limit by 1:30. Even outdid the minner fishermen today.

    Yea, the blacks and the whites are in the same area. The black crappie hang tight to the pier. The White crappie are a little futher out from th pier on structure. Now that the water has cooled down from the 80s to high 70s seem to be catching more blacks than early in the sumer.
