Your right Good looking mess of Crappie, either the picture is mis-leading to me or those are some good size Crappie. No dings! Nice fish! good job jj.
Went to Bucksaw today - without Mrs JJ (she had to help one of her sons with his shaved ice business). I invited a guy from work just to keep from going by myself He couldn't handle the 10 ft rod so he was using a short rod and I was using the long The two do not do well together, but we still managed to keep 22.
Edge of Flats - 30-25 ft of water fishing 15 deep with minnows. Water temp 73 and extremely clear. caught them all before 1 - never had another fish after 1.

Jiggin we went out of shawnee on Saturday. Never fished the lake so didn't know any good spots to hit. The fish we found we scattered in the trees. We moved from tree to tree and ended up keeping 7. We were also using minnows and the trees had to be at least 15 feet deep to hold crappie. I love the lake and wish I lived closer. I'm also interested in the long pole method as I have never done that before either. Tightlnes.
Way to go JJ looks like you had a good day!
