    Default Stockton was good Saturday!

Caught 13 keepers and 30 or 40 shorts. Found the fish scattered from 20 feet to 3 feet. Most caught in 8 feet of water 6 feet deep on points with brush. Used minnows and jigs both with a nibble. Best jig color was John Deere Green head with electric chicken tube. I did have a little fun catching a 5lb 2oz large mouth on a 10 foot Wally Marshal rod, it's a good thing that rod has a lot of back bone!:D

Sounds like a great day PB. Where did you catch the most? (don't say in the mouth). Did jigs work as well as the minners? You happen to see Barn Dog? I have a 10' wally also , and really like it. What days are you available for guide service?
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!

I fished CC after your and Beagles report from Ruark. Afternoon bite was the best. Minners worked better but I ran out, I thought 4 dozen was enough. Nibble made a difference. I never saw Barn Dog. I fish almost every Saturday and your welcome anytime.

Only one place I know of to get those fancy jd jig heads. They are not for sale in stores and you have to have the right connections. I really like them with the double barb it keeps the jig in place.:D Thanks Buzzy! Did you hear the beep beep as I went by your house last night?
