    Talking controversial, hot-button topic

Ok, been watching to much tv lately -
to be specific food/travel shows, and beer commercials.

What is up with this foam (head) obsession with some beer people?
I'm a redneck, I usually drink it straight out of the can, or if I'm
really feeling uppity, a long-neck bottle...

but if somebody were to pour me one in a glass and have half the
glass full of foam, first thing I'm thinkin' is "that's gonna be flat
before I get to the bottom of it"

So jump in and tell me I ain't cultured enough to appreciate it -
I'll agree :D I DID sorta/kinda get used to a keg sitting at room temp
behind the bar when I was overseas in the AF, but would really rather have it cold - and not shook up What about ya'll?

You see it exactly as I see it. I also prefer the bottle as opposed to the mug since you don't know what they ran out of the tap unless you pour it out of a bottle into the mug yourself.

I'm kind of a redneck too so i'm not too cultured, I have to say my favorite beer to drink is an open one, but my most favorite kind is a free one, at that point I really don't care if it's foamy and luke-warm. However, if I have my preference I like bottles, when I'm feeling classy I pour it into a nice frozen mug.

Good ole PBR! I remember in college we used to buy kegs of these. Didn't always feel great the next morning, but that was just proof of a great night before! haha

The correctly poured pint glass of beer has 1" of foam at the top.

Is the foam purely for aesthetics, or does it serve another purpose?

C'mon, tell me what I'm missing Still lots of things I might learn
to appreciate before kickin' the bucket :D
