I fished Lake Wilhelm today for over 9 hrs, It was really a slow bite!I kept only 6 crappies and 1 perch I did manage to catch 4 largemouths on spinner baits I shouldn"t complain though it was a beautiful day!!! Anyhow back to Shenango for me much better fishing!!!!!!! I thought it was just me :but i talked with quite a few anglers coming off wilhelm today and believe it or not they caught nothing since 6 am!!!!!

    ICENUT,
I fished Wilhelm yesterday too and the bite was slower than I expected. Which end of the lake did you fish? I managed around 20 crappied, 4 perch, and 1 nice gill. The crappie were either holding very tight to brush or very close to the shore. I didn't catch any crappie deep, but all of the perch were caught trolling in 18-19 feet of water. The water temp was 61-63 degrees and I thought I would have done much better in the shallows.
