Default Gettin' ready to head north for Caribou

Well it's been two years in the planning. I leave tomorrow for Quebec for my caribou hunt. I have spend a lot of time shooting my bow, going over my gear and planning for this hunt.

I will be hunting with Mirage Outfitters. We arrive at the main lodge which is 1,100 miles north of Toronto and then fly out on Otter type planes to the spike camps.

My buddy and I will be bow hunting however, we are taking my Encore just in case. I should be back around the end of the month.

I hope I return with some sucess stories and some caribou steaks. We are allowed two caribou.

About two weeks after I return, I'm going with 3 buddies to Wisconsin to duck hunt. Then, during the middle or end of Oct. my son and father-in-law want to head for Ky. Lake for some fall crappie.

    I Love Fall.

Lots of luck to you Lungbuster.
A trip planned for that long, you must be ready to burst.

I'll have the grill hot for when you get back.

By the way,,,, don't forget to post some pics on the hunting boards.

Good Luck to you and friends and be safe for sure. I pretty much quit hunting with my physical body so bad, but use to love that. Use to deer hunt until a few years ago and did a lot of duck hunting back long ago now.

Hope you guys have a great trip!
