Default Good day dispite the water conditions ....

That or I just hit the right pattern for the water conditions , I certainly can't complain !

Good thing I don't eat much , I could have wiped out the population today . This big gal was loaded with eggs just like the rest of 'em I put back !!

I kept this one and 1 male .... I'm going to try something !

I caught at least 200 crappie today( in about 3 hours) , everything from 5" to the 12" ones ( caught 15 of those ) . Sunny , 75+* , east wind at 5mph, 64* surface water temp , water stained( but clearing) and falling after a 7" rise over the weekend !
I was using a chartruse & black beetle( no spinner) , also had some success with yellow and black split tail beetle and the classic white . I used 1/32 oz with a foam float for a really slow fall !!

The lake was the local park lake ( lots of fishing pressure) at the deepest part is about 8 - 10' , I was fishing around 2' deep in the submerged grass and tree tops.
Under normal water conditions this area would have been about 10 inches deep .
