get to try out those cat. worms yet.
Plenty of rain in the forecast-might be a good time to try them come sun/mon.
I'm finally getting the hang of a cast net.Lost one already to an unseen log-er...smithville nessie, second one is all torn up but repaired with power-pro.Threw one day and had forgot to tie the rope to my wrist, thankfully it was a nylon floating rope.
I spent last weekend on Truman. Put in 2 trotlines and baited 10 hooks with the catalpas, 2 worms each hook. When I checked it 6 hours later, those 10 hooks had 6 channel cats and 4 empty hooks. I would say that is a very good ratio. Shad were so thick in the backs of the coves on Truman I could have netted all I might want with a dip net. I've never seen them that thick before. I'm not very efficient with my casting net. I do manage catching a few once in a while tho. Good luck to ya.
