Skip I'll be praying for you and everybody in texas.
you will feel it for a while in gas prices as the refiners South of me supply about 25% of all out gas in this country and damage to them will make us have a Short supply and you know what that means.
However right now I am more concerned with keeping my power on through this bad storm. It's going to be bad some places like Galveston. Lots of other towns will flood bad from the storm surge and that is pretty certain.

It is already affecting Little Rock. Gas prices rose $.30 just last night. I hear it will go over $4.00. I also heard it was $5 just down the road in Texarkana.
I have folks that live in Crosby; as you look at the map, right on top of the bay. They are boarding up, but, otherwise sticking it out. They were in the mass exedous from Rita a few years ago. It took them over 30 hours to drive here to Little Rock (normally 8). I can't talk them into coming again.

I am a heterosexual male. 2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
On another board the guys in Kentucky had gas prices up around $5.29. You Texas guys get stocked up with food and water and above all BE SAFE. We're all thinking about you guys.

LOL don't have a plow any more, but as a kid growing up on a farm we had and used a plow. The old guy that took care of my uncle's place use to plow using a mule to pull it.
I guess I drove most kinds of stuff when I was really young. Jeep, tractor etc and that was before I was 7 or 8 years old. Heck I had 6 horses before I was 10 that were actually mine.
Looks like Gavelston and my old home town or Orange along with Port Arthur and Bridge City are in big trouble with a 15'-20' storm surge. All of that will be under water for sure.
