Wondering about MT this week

Debating on whether to go up to Mark Twain this weekend with all the rain coming. Fished last Saturday and we wound up with seventeen decent keepers but had to work for them. Caught mostly on minnows anywhere from seven foot to eighteen inches deep. They were pretty scattered. Lake looks like it is still coming up, has anyone out there fished this week?

I went up Saturday but didn't fish. The river arms were flowing in heavy, and it has come up 10 feet since I was there. It's not a pretty sight. The crappie were reportedly dead, but catfisherman have been doing really well. A few guys were headed out when I stopped by to check on my trailer, and they had caught a boatload recently with some really nice fish. They were hoping for the same as the rain was starting.
