    Thumbs down Tigergps.com

just got off the phone with them, I purchased a sonar from them because the website said and still says in stock, ships before 3pm. I had 2 day shipping and on the 5th day I find out they dont have them and it would not ship for another week, maybe. I asked for a replacement unit and all they offered me was a much cheaper unit. I told them no customer service goes a long ways these days. So now I gotta look elsewhere for me a unit and try and get it here fast. anyway thats my rant and needless to say I DONT RECOMMEND them to anyone wanting a Lowrance unit because they dont seem to have any.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, I have been down that road myself. The last unit I bought was from GPS Discount, Inc. sells name brand GPS receivers, fishfinders, marine chart plotters and topographical mapping software along with other outdoor items. they had the best price, free shipping and sent me a free t shirt. Would do business with them again. Good luck.

same thing happened to me....tried ordering a lowrance gps last fall....ended up going elsewhere when it did not show up...they just let me walk away and did not offer me a replacement either...will never do business with them.

Thanks for the links guys, they are some good sites, at this point of the week I have to get another unit now, not going to pay 70 bucks for next day and then have to rush things to get it on the boat before I head out fishing so I guess its to bps tomorrow but we do what we gotta do to get back on the water.lol

I have done business with Three Rivers Marine, GPS Discount and also purchased new from a retailer on Ebay.
I have had positive encounters with all three. If you are someone that wants lower than average prices and exceptional customer service who will go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of, go with Three Rivers Marine. If you want some of the lowest prices posted on the internet and don't care as much about customer service, then go with GPS Discount. If you want the absolute lowest prices that can be found and really don't need any customer service, go with an Ebay retailer with a high rating. I saved over $400 on a brand new unit from an Ebay retailer who had a 98% aproval rating.
I would search all three and then make a decision based on what's most comfortable for you and what you think is best. You can't go wrong either way.
