Default So I have never owned a boat, but know the importance of one

I am so excited i could scream!

I am in no way able to buy a "real" boat right now. Not enough room or the towing capacity on my vehicle to handle one......planning a wedding, full time student, full time employee and navy reservist also have my hands way too full for one

however i am selling off my winter sports gear (dont have the time to get to the mountains) and purchasing an inflatable pontoon! I CAN NOT wait to get out there and give it a try! I have been shopping around for about 6 months, reading customer reviews and what not and have decided to bypass cabelas and bass pro and hit up wal mart. For some reason wal mart has the exact same model as most of the outdoor stores but 100 dollars cheaper and the customer reviews are excellent on it.....cabelas 4.7 out of 5 and wal mart reviews 4.5 out of 5!!!

found a bunch of used Minn Kota trolling motors on craigslist and waiting to close the deal on one of em!

I literally am so excited its killing me!

just thought you guys would appreciate excitement such as this!

i was an aviation mechanic in the military so that wont be too hard to fix when/if it happens

always have some 5 minute epoxy on your person and you should be ok!!!!

and these things are made from the same material as ribbed boats that we use in the military on salt water....they are uber durable

lets just hope i dont run into a smithville shark!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Pfffffffft....blub, blub, blub

I've fished from a tube and a canoe. The canoe was tops for ozark streams, the tube great for ponds and coves...sounds like you have the best of both. What's the make and model of the boat...(I have no life so I like to look up other people's stuff in catalogs).
