Weekend catch.......

Went to lake Sat evening. Too hot to get out, so I went out Sunday morning early. Managed to conjure up this mess in West Sandy Creek, Tn. I was using the Jon boat so I didn't venture too far from the house. Pretty nice fish. 11-13 inch range. 12-20 foot range. Minners. No temp gauge. Forgot..Left it at home...Got hot and I went to the a/c......

Didn't spent a lot of time on the water over the weekend. Water was choppy and the wind was up some. Not ideal conditions for a small Jon. Caught about 30, and kept 12 fishes. Lake is DOWN..........

Haha..I fished out of a homemade wood boat form many a year 'til I learnt that metal floated.

Lernt this about this floatin' metal in the US Navy.... I was on the Constellation and it ain't made of wood like the ones in the picture history books. Can't believe nothin' what in picture books.
