    Default Landing nets...

What type do all of you use? I have been looking at the Crappie Masters , but was concerned with the weight. Any one use one that can tell me how much it weighs and what you think about it? What about anyone that uses the EGO Reach? I normally fish alone and need one that is easily managed with one hand. www.mengo-ind.com/DisplayDetail.aspx?which=340www.adventureproducts.com

    Jeepster04,
If you are looking for a great net you will not go wrong with the EGO Reach from Adventure Products. The net handle is 34" long but will extend out to 8 1/2 feet long. The great part about this net is that it has a full rubber basket so you will not get your hooks hung in it and also it weighs less than 2 pounds when it is fully extended! It is a super net and it works great when you are out on the lake alone. Check them out at Adventure Products

I hope this helps you out...See Ya on the Water!!!

I use the Ego Reach and have been very happy. I left it extended and ran into a bridge with it and it suffered very little damage. The thing bounced back and is working almost as good as new.

Ego with the rubber net is the way to go. You will throw rocks at the others and giggle when you walk down the net aisle at BPS.

Seems like everybody loves their EGO net. Personally, I do not really like mine (EGO net) that well. If there was some angle where the net comes out of the handle, or if it was a little larger, I think it would work better for me but now I am wishing I would have purchased the net at Crappiemasters (then again, I may not like it if I had it).

Went on and purchased an EGO Reach rubber. Lost 2 nice keepers this weekend trying to manage my piece of crappo' Wal-Mart rubber junker net. Not too heavy at 2.5lbs, but in the water it feels like 40lbs. trying to get under those fish. Thanks for all of your information and experiences. I'll let you know what I think when I receive it.
