Default Campn' and fishn' on the Cheseapeake?

Hey nice to finally see a MD board in here!

I got a question for folks from Maryland. My kids want to go campn' and fishn'. I want to go the bay, but have no idea where to start. Anyone know of a nice place near Deale where a family can do that? I say Deale because it's closest to me (2 hours).

If I were doing it, I believe my first step would be to see where the nearest KOA campground to Deale is

No KOA around there. Looks like it's gonna be Point Lookout, unless someone has other info for me.

Bring bug repellant and lots of it..

Good choice BTW as the docks in the cove will have some good croaker at night. Crabbing is good there too.

    Default Camp Merryelande

Try Camp Merryelande in St George Island, MD. I took my kids camping there when they were young. I think they are still arround.
